The PLUNGE. Coming off each wave we had the "PLUNGE". Our fourth day out bound from Bernuda to USA, we are sailing
in about 14,000 feet of water. Sometimes we scoop up much water with the bow, then the water rushs back along the deck squirting
the freeing prorts as it comes .

Below is the start of the picture history of SPIRIT OF INDEPENDENCE with her 2005 launch at Independence, Missouri. The begining
of a 3,500 mile voyage to the East Coast, USA which started in Western Missour, down the Missouri River to St. Louis, down
the mighty Mississippi river, up the Ohio to the Tennessee River. Then many locks later arriving at Mobile, Schooner SPIRIT
OF INDEPENDENCE's gateway to the ocean.
